Leveraging Public Research for Application in Minnesota

A CARD-funded white paper project

In 2019, Evergreen Economics evaluated publicly funded research and development of clean energy technology for future applicability by Minnesota utilities in their conservation improvement programs. This effort was funded by a grant from the State of Minnesota and resulted in a white paper, a webinar, nine technology fact sheets, and a database of clean energy studies that were reviewed. Fact sheets address commercial HVAC technologies and controls (3 fact sheets), wastewater treatment technologies (4 fact sheets), emerging technologies in food services and groceries, and program adoption insights from consumer studies.
